From 1 July 2026, all travelers will be required to complete an online Traveler Declaration form every time they enter or leave South Africa. Official link here tools.sars.gov.za/sarsonlinequery/travellerThe form must be completed no more than 24 hours before departure.For travelers with connecting flights, the 24-hour period is calculated from the departure time of the final flight to South Africa.Travelers who are only passing through South Africa and remain in the airport’s transit area do not need to complete the online Traveler Declaration form.We recommend that travelers download the app and register well before travel. Then within 24 hours of departure, simply add arrival/ departure information and submit.
